Itsy Bitzy is part of me…my ideas turned concrete. Originally when the idea of Itsy was born I invited a college pal to take the plunge with me. Soon after, the initial interest was lost and it was back to just me and my ideas. The simple hobby of sewing and creating has helped lessen the stress in my life. Yes, even something as simple as sewing!
I learned that keeping things simple is best. I’ve applied this “simple living” to every aspect in my life to keep stress away. I’ve said good bye to people that were dragging me down; I’velearned humility through my work experience this Summer; I’ve stopped periodically throughout the day to really reflect and thank God for all that He is doing for me; I’ve taken the time to cuddle my two kiddos and tell them how much I love them; and I’ve given my complete attention to my husband.
Thank you for supporting my small idea in the biggest way! Making handmade items is a pastime I enjoy and knowing that you have passed my gift along to someone else is even more enjoyable.

Living in Southern California means summer doesn’t really end, but with the reality of school starting earlier this year, it sure feels that way! My oldest, Alyssa, starts 2nd grade this Thursday at a new school and it isn’t even September! Thankfully, we are finally finished with all the school shopping madness and now I’m just trying to calm her first day jitters by making her feel as confident as possible.

WELCOME to my very first post!
I’m so excited to finally have time for my website and all that goes into running it. Let me first start off by a brief introduction of myself; My name is Sara Lee and I’m a proud mommy of two precious girls. My first baby is Alyssa Jean and she is entering 2nd grade this year (yikes!) and my second baby is Aubree Rae; she is my two-year-old trouble maker :) I’m married to a wonderful man and we live in Southern California.
My ‘real’ job is in public education, where I teach at a middle school. This small business is more therapeutic than anything else. I love to make things and make my ideas into something concrete. My funky designs are all part of my eclectic personality. My hobbie keeps me sane during my whirlwind of a schedule as a wife, mommy, and teacher and gives me an exuse to have some “me” time. 
Itsy Bitzy Couture offers baby and toddler items that are atypical from the norm of dept. store baby wear. From Lap Tee’s to Hair Clips and Blankets to Gift Sets, all of my items are handmade.
